I hope to one day own a ’67 TOYOTA COROLLA {KE10}. Just like this one

January 2, 2011

Over the last few years, I’ve been drooling over Tani’s {タニさん} ’67 Toyota Corolla KE10. Something about the designs of vintage Toyotas really grab my attention. 4-door versions of the KE10 are almost impossible to find here in the states. Wouldn’t it be nice to see one of these on this side of the Pacific Ocean? Maybe one day I can convince my buddy Arik to ship me one from Japan.

Hello 2011. Cheers to a great year ahead

In 1963, the US Postal Service implemented the Zonal Improvement Plan to help increase transit efficiency. The plan encouraged mailers to include the assigned zip code of a parcel’s destination—which for many users, it became an inconvenience. To help spread awareness of the new plan, the Postal Service enlisted Mr. Zip as its animated spokesperson. Here we are, 48 years later, and we’re all including zip codes on our mail. Mr. Zip FTW.
