During the cross country move from New York to Portland, OR, my friend (and fellow 12er) Jed was able to swing by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin School of Architecture in Wisconsin. During the visit, Jed purchased a replica of the 1933 Taliesin Fellowship Brochure—a document that prospective students were required to fill out before any considerations were made of becoming a member. Down below are a few scans that I was able to take of the application.

New York’s original street-style photographer, Bill Cunningham has a film coming out later this year via Zeitgeist Films. Designer Oscar de la Renta has said, “More than anyone else in the city, he has the whole visual history of the last 40 or 50 years of New York. It’s the total scope of fashion in the life of New York.”

For Wieden+Kennedy’s 24th anniversary, Faile was invited to install a large scale mural on the 5th floor bridge over looking their atrium. Modular segments of the mural now decorate the walls of their garage. Click here to see it in full view.
