Sunriver, Oregon pt. 1
July 30, 2011Last week, Jim was kind enough to let us stay at his house in Sun River, Oregon to get a little R&R away from the agency. After making the three-hour drive to take on the next few days of nothingness, the directors decided to hit us with a surprise briefing before we were even able to get our shoes off. The brief was two words. Two BIG words that kept kept Alex smiling and Andrew worried about the cost of printing the 15 foot banner. But it was for Wordstock, the last client and the last brief for us here at W+K12.7, so it was worth it. More on that later.
During the first week of W+K12.7, we had the pleasure of working the rounds of Wordstock in our What Happened-themed sandwich boards. Soon after, on the following Monday, Byron and Andrew had us all write down ways that we could improve the event for the upcoming year. And course, after 10-months of marinating in an envelope, the directors had us all read out loud the feedback that we had written to give us a bit of a pre-festival refresher. Final stretch starts now! And then we started drinking.
