Cult of Stacks Art Show at Commonwealth Skatepark. Portland, OR

A few photos from last night’s Cult of Stacks show at Portland’s Commonwealth Skatepark. They had an Eric Elms Kilroy Print on display that unfortunately wasn’t for sale. Work by Kevin Lyons, Geoff McFetridge, Michael Leon and Evan Hecox was also on display.

Out of frustration to find a dry place to skate during the rainier months (which is most months!) here in Portland, local skaters Jennifer Sherowski and Lance Normine took it within their own hands to build and open the city’s first indoor concrete skatepark. Since opening last February, the park has been a haven for those looking to skate and skate dry.

The park is located just down the hall from their front office/gallery space and is open to the public 7-days a week. Below are photos that I took during the Cult of Stacks show.
