Still alive in Portland.
October 10, 2010One week in. Got off to a slow start here in Portland but things are looking better now that I’m finally out of a hotel and situated at my apartment. Tomorrow, I’ll be spending my day lurking around the Portland landscape. Maybe I’ll finally remember to get a shower curtain…
By Jim Riswold. Upon reading Lord of the Flies

October 2, 2010While on our introductory tour of the Wieden+Kennedy building, us WK12.7ers had the opportunity of meeting Shayla Hason (aka DJ Safi), who helps run WKE Radio. One of our future tasks at WK12 is help create a radio segment. Definitely excited.
“We’re here” doormat at Wieden+Kennedy Portland. By WK12.7
October 1, 2010As an offering to our new home for the next year, we at WK12 decided to create a doormat for the kind folks at Wieden+Kennedy. Class for us hadn’t officially started, but we thought that it would be a good idea for us to get the year kicked off with this crafty not-so-little gesture. 13 mats representing each of us in the group. Butane romance all day long. Not a bad way to let them know that…well…We’re Here! As soon as I get rhythm with the WK12 blog, I’ll be posting all WK12 related work on there first. Stay tuned. The process is shown below.
