March 19, 2010Currently listening to: “Twenty-nine” by Christmas Island
March 18, 2010So my desktop’s hard drive just crashed last night… and really, the only thing I’m dreading is the possibility of losing about six years of photos that I’ve taken. These are things that you can’t get back. “Twenty-nine” by Christmas Island was the first song that played as I attached my iPod Shuffle to the audio system that was connected to my desktop. Listen to it HERE.

March 14, 2010On my desk: Printed matter from Chris Bilyeu and Supreme NY
March 11, 2010I purchased this piece a few days ago from San Diego-based artist, Chris Bilyeu. You can check out more of his illustrations here.
I’m a sucker for printed goods. In a world where print is quickly becoming a secondary medium, its always nice to buy/receive tangible media. On a recent trip to LA, my friend Mark Tanks fetched me this sticker from Supreme. The gentleman photographed below is Black Ark Studio’s tune-smith, Lee Scratch Perry. More info on this collaboration here.
