I want a house in Rolando Village. San Diego, CA
February 6, 2010I was watching the local news last night and got a late pass on discovering the simple beauty of San Diego’s Rolando Village. This neighborhood is right out of a black-and-white 50’s sitcom… but in color. As described by Jim D. Newland, Rolando was “named after the rolling topography of the land—with a popular 1920s ‘Spanish-style’ linguistic twist”. During the early development of Rolando Village, it was touted to be San Diego’s version of what Hollywood living is to Los Angeles. Click the images to make them larger.
