Bottled Exponential Hoppiness with Jesus

December 19, 2009

Jesus De Jesus aka DJ J Peso

The other day, I headed to Alpine with Jesus de Jesus, also known as J Peso. He’s a local DJ and current resident at the Bluefoot in San Diego. Cool dude. He’s also responsible for getting me into a whole world of Raphael Saadiq produced/written music that I’ve never heard of.

I had the day off and was en route about 20 miles east to pick up Alpine Brewery’s Exponential Hoppiness and decided to bring him along since it had been a minute since we’ve last connected. It was Alpine Brewing’s first time to bottle this beer and only 60 cases (720 bottles) were made. Known for making some of the best beers in the world, it was a pretty big deal for all the hop-loving beer guzzlers. Its pretty monumental. My roommate was definitely happy to find these in our refrigerator.

We also made a trip to the Viejas Outlet Center to look for some “gems”. Among them included, Wtaps Vans, Fragment x Uniform Experiment Nikes and Nike Zoom Flight 95s. All ready to be purchased. (Wtaps bought by Peso)
