Thanksgiving eating marathon and Best Coast at the Tower Bar

Every year, my friends and I get together for a Thanksgiving dinner/reunion. The ladies bring all the food, and the gentlemen bring the booze. I must have made 4 laps around this table throughout the evening. Always a good time. Thank you for everything.

Later that night, Neill and I headed over to Tower Bar to check out a few bands. I had missed Art Fag Fest the night before, so it was a good chance to catch Best Coast play live at the cozy venue. The show wasn’t announced until earlier that day, so for those who couldn’t make the 5pm time slot the night before, it was a real treat. Strange Boys from Austin, TX were also in town and played a great set. This was my second time seeing them and I noticed the addition of Jenna Thornhill (Mika Miko) on sax/vocals.
